Website Redesign
KNW Consultancy
Role: Graphic designer Agency: Freelance
KN Walford Consultancy Ltd (KNWC) supports small and underrepresented charities with expert guidance in fundraising, financial management, and organisational development. With over 50 years of combined experience, they specialise in helping non-profits navigate grant applications and build long-term sustainability.
However, their original one-page website didn’t reflect the depth or professionalism of their services. Dense, text-heavy content and a lack of clear structure made it hard for users to understand what KNWC offered — limiting engagement and impact.

I led the redesign by first restructuring the site into dedicated pages: Home, About Us, Services, Resources, and Contact — allowing users to quickly find what they need and explore offerings at their own pace.
Content Strategy + Copywriting: The original content was edited for clarity and flow, while retaining KNWC’s voice. I created clear service sections that communicated value while reducing jargon, and introduced an agile, back-and-forth copywriting approach that shared offerings transparently and collaboratively, ensuring users clearly understood what was provided.
Design System: The design preserves the brand’s existing identity — Effra headlines give a modern, authoritative feel, while Nunito Sans keeps the body text clean and readable. I used whitespace intentionally to improve legibility and visual rhythm.
Visuals + Image Editing: Imagery was updated and retouched to reflect KNWC’s values: professionalism, diversity, and empowerment.

The new KNWC website is a clean, professional, and intuitive platform that reflects the organisation’s mission and expertise. With structured service pages, improved copy, and a user-first layout, the site now supports their goal of reaching and empowering more small and underrepresented charities.
